Tomato Chutney

INGREDIENT
2 lbs ripe tomatoes
1 lb sugar
chillies to taste
1 oz mustard seed
1/2 oz garlic
1/2 oz ginger
1/2 bottle vinegar
salt
2 oz sultanas
 
METHOD
Grind the chillies, mustard,garlic and ginger with the vinegar.Remove the skins from the tomatoes by dipping them into boiling water.Cut the tomatoes into squares,and put it in a sucepan.Now add the vinegar and boil until the fruit is soft.Add the sugar,the ground ingredients and salt, and boil the whole gently till it is of a good consistancy.
