Cherry Cheese Cake


 
Preheat oven to 325 F.
 
CRUST
Combine:1/2 cup sugar
 1/2 cup melted butter
 2 cups graham crackers
Press mixture into greased 8 inch springform pan.
 
FILLING

Beat 5 egg whites until white peaks form. Add 1/4 cup sugar.
Set aside.
Beat: 2 pkg Philadelphia cream cheese until smooth
Add: 5 egg yolks - one at a time
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
Fold egg whites into filling. Pour filling on top of crust
in springform pan.
 
***Baking Time
Bake for 1 1/4 hours. Cool completely (centre of cake will drop).
Add cherry pie filling to centre of cake. Refrigerate.
