There are three stages to prepare this dish. It is like a short eat or could be served for dinner.
Preparation of PANCAKE- 1 lb flour
- 1 egg
- Milk to prepare batter (3 cups)

Method: Put the flour into a bowl, add the beaten egg, salt and milk and stire the batter until you feel is enough to make pancake.
Preparation of Rotty
- 1/2 lb flour
- margerine
- salt to taste
- pinch of turmeric powder
- water to make dough

METHOD
Put the flour into a bowl, add the margerine and salt and mix well then keep adding water to make the dough soft and nice also add the turmeric powder to give colour.
Ground Beef or Chicken for filling.
1lb ground beef
Onions, green chillies, tomatoes, salt to taste, garlic ginger and lime.
Chillie powder, pepper powder, lime.

Boil the ground beef with water in a pan, once boiled add the chillie powder, pepper powder and lime and mix well. Separately fry the onions, green chillies, garlic giner tomatoes until brown, then add the ground beef to this and keep stirring. Remove from fire once complete.
Preparation for the adaka rotty
Once the pancakes are made keep aside and make the rotty, the rotty should be two time larger than the size of the pancake. Place one large rotty and on top of this place a pancake spread the ground beef curry on top and place another pancake again spread ground beef like this you could keep placing around five pancakes one on top of the other and finally cover it up with a rotty seal the ends of the two rottys with egg. You could fry this or back at 450 degrees in the oven.
